Ice City: Ideal Vacation Destination for a Sled Dog!

Making the decision of where to go on a vacation can be difficult, but thanks to the Internet, this dog knows where I want to go next. There is an Ice City in Habin, China that looks wonderful. Since I'm a sled dog, I happen to be fond of ice and snow so this would be paradise for me. There are so few places a dog can go where it is cold and you can enjoy ice and snow. My humans do not share my enthusiasm, but it really doesn't matter what they think. A vacation destination should be chosen by the family dog. If you have trained your humans well, it won't be a problem. However, for those dogs out there whose humans aren't as well trained as mine are, keep working on it. The humans take a long time to train. They aren't dogs so they don't possess our genius brains. Don't give up--the humans mean well. They can't help it that they are stupid. Here is the web address so you can see Ice City for yourself:

M&Ms in Space!

I'm sorry about not writing a blog yesterday. I have a human secretary, and she had "something important to do yesterday". What could be more important than staying home and writing my blog? Next she will be expecting to go on vacation. This dog did not say anything about vacations when I hired my human. It isn't that I'm against vacations as long as I get to go along. However, I am not about to say anything about a "paid vacation" since I have no intention of paying my humans to work for me. I have important things to do with my money--like buying dingo bones and treats. I have forgiven my secretary since she did come home with McDonalds hamburgers for Angel Zoom Smokey and myself along with some delicious human peanut butter cookies and dingo bones. At least she knows how to buy our affection!

In my last blog, I wrote about the collectible Star Trek Captain Kirk M&M. After I wrote the blog, I started thinking about how maybe that is the "real" Captain Kirk. Perhaps he wasn't human at all, but he was actually a big M&M. I can't think of a better ambassador of good will throughout the galaxy than a giant M&M. Sure, I guess you could have someone like Twinkie the Kid, the Keebler Elf, or Captain Crunch represent Earth, but an M&M is still an excellent choice. There have been many brave M&Ms in space that remind me of characters from the movie Star Wars. I have an address for you to watch a M&Ms commercial in which they are characters from the Addams Family television show. The address is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxyWWJe_7wo This causes me to conclude that it is really M&Ms that are "running the universe", and humans are copying them. If you ask this dog, the humans aren't doing a great job of mimicking the M&Ms. I wonder if the M&Ms are going to end up getting mad and annihilating the humans. I hope not since we dogs do tend to like the humans even if they are silly. We like M&Ms too, but for a totally different reason. It is our taste buds that like M&Ms!

Destination: Spam Museum!

  • In the summertime, a dog's thoughts turn to where the family should go on vacation. Thanks to a Minnesota travel guide, I have found a perfect destination for both humans and dogs. That place is the Spam Museum. As you can deduce from the name, it is a museum dedicated to spam. The best thing about the museum is that the admission is free. I can't think of a better place to spend a vacation than the Spam Museum. How often can you combine culture and food in one museum? Sure, you can go to the Metropolitan Museum instead, but I doubt that any of their exhibits are as interesting to a dog as the exhibits in the Spam Museum. In fact, I doubt that the Metropolitan has any of the series of paintings of dogs playing poker which are the best paintings ever done. Most museums want them, but can't afford such magnificent works of art. They don't even have my painting, What Dogs Mean to the Earth. This was posted on my blog on July 12, 2011 under the title, Demon Flash Bandit: Artist.

  • The Spam Museum is located in Austin, Minnesota with 16,500 square feet of Spam. Admission to the museum is free so you might want to visit more than once. I'm sure some of the dogs will want to spend more than one day there. I bet there is even spam in the gift shop for sale. If you ask this dog, there is nothing better than a souvenir that can be eaten when you are hungry!

Stuntdog and My Bus Tour of Historical Dog Sights

I have some exciting news today from my brother's blog ( http://www.silverscreenhub.com/ ). My brother is now selling products featuring his logo (or mascot) and my stunt dog, Phantom Fast Snowman. I am planning on having a launch of my own products with me on them, but I'm not extremely cooperative about having my photo made so it will take awhile. I keep telling the humans that models are paid for their time and trouble, and I happen to be a lot handsomer than the human models. Anyway, for anyone interested in looking at Phantom's products, all you have to do is go to the main page of his site, and there is a link to his new store.

I have been a super busy dog since being chosen as http://www.dogster.com/ dog of the week. How many of you saw me on Colbert's show? I had to turn Leno down because I didn't like how the network treated Conan so, although Leno and NBC was begging me to grace them with my attendance, I refused. Sometimes a dog has to take a stand. I was pleased to be on Conan's show. When he said to the audience, "put your paws together for Demon Flash Bandit", I felt so honored!!!

Maybe I'll get a bus and do a bus tour like Sarah Palin is doing at the moment. I can go to the really important spots in American history. I can see the town with the mayor who is a dog (Rabbit Hatch, Kentucky), I can watch the ships sail in the Great Lakes under the direction of Captain Imma Dog. I can stand on the site where John Fitzgerald Canine barked, "ask not where your milkbones are, ask the humans to buy you another box!". Yes, I think a bus tour of famous dog sites would be a perfect summer vacation. How many of you would like to join me on the tour?
