I have received another letter from my pal, the Queen Lady (Queen Elizabeth II) asking for my advice on the latest scandal involving the publishing of photos of Kate topless. For those don't know what topless means, that means that she doesn't have any shirt on--not that she is bald. I know the word can be confusing which is why my readers can always turn to a dog to explain it to them. Personally, I don't care anything about the photos, but a lot of the humans will want to see them. My advice for the royal family in the future is "don't sunbathe topless" if you don't want photos to be published. You would think that after all these years in the public eye, that the royals would know that by now that photographers love to take photos like that of celebrities. Sure, it is a shame that they can't have privacy, but it is part of the price of being a celebrity. This is why this dog does not sunbathe topless. The photographers would love to get my photo since I am such a celebrity dog blogger. However, I have enough sense to keep my fur on. I hope the royals take my advice because it seems like it is becoming an everyday thing for photos of them naked to be published, and I am getting tired of hearing about it. I hope the Queen Lady can get her grandchildren to learn to wear their clothes. At least there aren't any naked scandals involving the royal dogs. This is because we dogs are smart enough to keep our fur on!

Dogs Need Privacy Too!!!
I saw an item in the news about a woman in Denver, Colorado who used an iPhone application to watch her dog in her absence, and ended up catching footage of a thief who broke into her house. I hope this will help the police apprehend the criminal, but this dog is a bit worried about the implications of a phone application that can watch a dog from afar. Sure, I know the humans love to photograph me because I happen to be a handsome dog, but do I really want them seeing everything I do? I happen to be a good dog, but what about my right to privacy? I think the humans are going a bit too far with that phone application. I bet the humans would be annoyed if their dogs put an application on the iDogPhone that watched the humans' every move. I can't say I blame them for that. They want privacy, but seem to forget that dogs want our privacy too. What about the dogs who aren't good like me and who get into things? Those dogs will no longer be able to say that they had nothing to do with the missing food--it was a thief who broke in to steal snacks. Dogs deserve privacy too. I think phones that can watch a dog when the humans are gone are bad, and I think that application should be illegal. If my humans ever try that, I will hire doggy lawyers to sue them. I hope other dogs will act accordingly.

Reminder: Santa Paws is Coming to Town
I was watching the movie made in honor of Angel Zoom Smokey and myself, Angels and Demons. I don't understand why they chose to use humans in the film because humans are clearly inferior to dogs in movies. However, it was directed and produced by humans so I have to assume that they didn't want to work with dogs who are so clearly superior to them in talent and intelligence. Considering the all human cast, it was a good movie. I'm hoping they will remake it with an all dog cast, but you know how prejudiced the humans are in favor of themselves. I can only hope that some day, the bias will end.
It is one week until Christmas so, for the humans reading this, if you haven't gotten your dog's gifts yet, I would suggest you start your shopping. You don't want the pet store to run out of dog toys and treats before you get there. Dogs, don't forget to be extra nice and good because Santa Paws is watching. I'm not saying it isn't an invasion of privacy on his part. However, he is bringing you gifts so it is best not to bring that up when you talk to him. I hope you have written your letters to him, and/or visited him in person. A dog can never be too careful at this time of year---it would be awful not to have some gifts under the tree-and you should have gifts you want!
