I have been staying awake for the past couple of days fussing at Angel Zoom Smokey. Why? Because some dog has to do it. Anyway, I do not appreciate the humans making fun of me. I was so tired from staying awake that I was walking through the room, and I felt my tail, and it freaked me out. I didn't realize it was my tail at first and I thought I was being attacked by some tail type space alien. I admit, when I realized it was my own tail, I did fell a little silly, but it can happen to any dog who is really, really tired. I'm just glad the humans didn't get it on video because I wouldn't want to see myself acting silly going viral on youtube.com. I have a reputation to uphold!
It is actually a bit cooler today so maybe that talk with Mother Nature did some good. Sometimes you have to walk softly and carry a large gun so that she knows you mean business. Until then, she was sending us August type heat, and we huskies do not appreciate August heat. We don't even like June type heat.
I want to send out a thank you to all my readers in Russia. It was a pleasant surprise to see so many readers from there, and I appreciate you taking the time to read. It isn't like I'm writing this in Russian so I know it is harder for you to read than for the people in the United States.
I will be back tomorrow...some dog time (okay maybe not exactly the same time)...same dog blog.

Aliens Shooting Down Evil Birds in Maryland!
In the past, I have written blogs about space aliens coming to Earth, but today I discovered an article in the Weekly World News that makes this dog feel good about the aliens. This article is about UFOs shooting down birds in Maryland. As a dog who has warned the humans many times about birds and their evil plot to take over the planet, it made this dog feel good to see that the birds are not fooling the aliens any, and the aliens are taking action against the evil birds. The humans may not be intelligent enough to see through the birds evil plans, but thankfully, the aliens are an advanced civilization that understand that birds need to die. Obviously, these are good aliens who are watching out for us "Earthlings" because they know that the human Earthlings don't have enough sense to watch out for themselves. I'd like to thank the aliens for getting rid of so many annoying birds. We dogs appreciate your efforts. For those who would like to read the article in the Weekly World News, here is the link:

I'm the Cookie Bandit!
Earlier today I was in the mood for a cookie. When I say "cookie", I am talking about the cookies the humans eat, not dog biscuits. I am particularly fond of peanut butter cookies. Anyway, I have heard that there are Keebler elves who make cookies, and they bake those cookies in hollow trees. I thought this would be useful information since we have a lot of trees around here, and I could check to see which tree the elves are using for their cookie business. I could also get a couple of tasty cookies while I am there. I went outside and I checked every tree in the yard, and there were no elves in any of them. Unless the elves have some advanced technological force field that keeps a dog from seeing them, they weren't there. Besides, even if they could not be seen by a dog, it would be hard to keep a dog from smelling those delicious cookies. If you ask me, it is false advertising to tell a dog that the cookies are made in trees if the dog can't find the tree. Because I was so annoyed, I made sure I lifted my leg to every tree in the yard. The trees appreciate being watered, and just in case those elves are hiding, they deserve a shower. In the future, I will be checking every tree I see just to make sure that there are no elves hiding in the tree refusing to give a dog cookies!
