Prehistoric Modern Art

After much searching, I have found prehistoric vomit in a cave in South America. I think this is the earliest version of "modern art" ever discovered. Clearly, this was a piece of art about a bird. Some ancient human thought of a bird, and that thought alone made him vomit. And then voila, ART! I don't think I could have made a better painting myself. Additionally Spot (one of my doggy art students) said the art piece was "yummy". Sadly, because of Spot, I can no longer share my discovery with the world-at least not until Spot has to take the Browns to the Superbowl. However, I will continue to try to "dig" up more ancient art to share with the humans. I think it is important for them to see what kind of art their human ancestors enjoyed.

Santorum"s Solutions: Get a Job

I will probably write another blog later today, but I had to write this one early when I saw the news because I found it so funny. Santorum, who is running as a Republican candidate for President faced the humans at the Occupy movement and told them to get a job. I laughed my tail off until I realized that there are humans who take him seriously. I'm not going to get into whether or not he would be a good President (I don't think so myself), but many of the Occupy people do have jobs...they protest in their "spare time". I am hoping that his "job" is not to run for political office. I am going to assume he has worked in his life, but that running for office is something he is doing in his "spare time". It sounds to me like this guy has simple answers for all problems. Tell the blind humans to start seeing, the ones who can't walk to start walking, and the ones who are sick to get well. Yes, there are lazy humans who don't want to work, but there are also plenty who are looking for work and can't find jobs so I think this Santorum guy must be quite out of touch with regular humans. I do find it funny though. Surnames are generally given because of an ancestor's profession, name, or the place they lived. Since Santorum sounds like a Sanitarium, and sanatoriums are often used to describe places where insane people are sent, it makes sense that he is out of touch. It is probably a place where his family has been sent to live for generations which is how he got the name Perhaps a candidate should come up with some real answers if he wants to be taken seriously.

Humans Are Entertaining

I didn't write a blog yesterday. My secretary is a human, and she was "under the weather" yesterday. I think that means she was sick, but the humans always find such stupid ways of saying things. Aren't all us of officially "under the weather" unless we are flying in an airplane and then we might be above the weather. I wasn't sure if she would write my blog today so I had to put my paw down and insist that she get it done. I'm sure it might be more effective if I actually paid her to do my blog, but she is a human, and the humans aren't smart enough to realize that they aren't getting paid. Besides, one wink from one of my blue eyes, and I can get her to do anything I want her to do.

Since this is the time of year when many of the humans catch colds, flu, and other annoying illnesses, I think that the real problem is that they need to have nice fur coats like us huskies have. I can go outside in freezing weather and feel quite warm. The humans are really not well adapted to their environments. I think this is because they are such an inferior species. Don't get me wrong--I like the humans, but I think the only reason they have survived over the centuries is because of us dogs. Our anicent wolf ancestors took pity on the stupid humans and started hanging out and watching over them. We didn't mind doing it....we do love the humans! As a whole, they are very entertaining with their antics!
