A market in London is selling rat meat to the humans. The problem with this market is that this market was not meant for humans--it is a market for cats. Cats love rat meat, and as usual, whenever a store is opened up that caters to dogs or cats, the humans want to start buying our treats. Ask a cat--any of them will tell you that rat meat is delicious, but it was not meant for humans. Some things are meant for us pets, and that is why I am very annoyed at the humans for buying the cat's treats. Is there no end to the humans wanting all our stuff? Just yesterday, I found an entire box of chocolate covered peanuts called Goobers and I took it to one of my favorite spots, and just as I was about to enjoy my find, the humans came along and took it from me, and told me that I couldn't have it. Is that fair? I think not!!! I know that Goobers are a lot better than rat meat, but cats aren't as smart as us dogs nor do they have our good taste. Just ask any dog--they will tell you that cats are okay, but they are inferior to us dogs. Here is the link to the rat market:

Cancer Causing Chemicals
Today's topic is serious. Some lawn chemicals have been linked to cancer in dogs which is not surprising considering that "Agent Orange", the chemicals used by the U.S. Army in Vietnam to kill the plants in the jungle have caused many health problems for the people who were exposed to them. For years afterward, many of those same chemicals were in the weed killers used on lawns. My human dad was one of those soldiers who was exposed to Agent Orange and he died 5 years ago because of the chemicals. Here is the link to the story:

My guess is that, although dogs get more exposure due to us being close to the ground and, on average, smaller than the humans; I doubt if it is good for them either.

Fried McRib Sounds Delicious!
I'm ready to take a trip to Austria. I'll have to ask my pal Raja who travels all over the world if a dog needs a passport or not. You might wonder why I want to go to Austria so much so I'll explain. McDonalds in Austria is offering for a limited time a fried McRib sandwich topped with bacon and pepper jack cheese. I would prefer a different cheese, but the rib and bacon sounds like McDonalds has finally gotten intelligent and hired a dog to tell them what to serve. This little bit of heaven probably won't be offered in the United States, and that is probably because the humans are always against good food. Yeah, I know it is silly. I have yet to meet another dog who is worried about calories or diet. We eat what we like, and let me tell you, it is wonderful. The only dogs on diets are put on them by the stupid humans. I think this is silly anyway because some humans have no health problems to keep them from eating the good stuff, and as long as it is an occasional indulgence, I think the humans are okay eating what they like. Some humans never develop the problems that the humans worry about so much no matter what they eat. I say bring on the ribs and bacon. This dog wants to try them without having to go to Austria which is a long way to go for dinner. Fot those who want to see what the sandwich looks like, go to this site:
