Movie Review: The Expendables 2

Today my movie review is of The Expendibles 2. This movie stars Slyvester Stallone and a bunch of other older movie action heroes. The movie starts out with shooting. Throughout the movie, there are assorted shootings, knife fights, fist fights, and the occasional chat between characters. Of course, you don't really need to know that much about the characters because all that really needs to be shown to the movie viewer is action. I do like Slyvester Stallone, but this movie is nothing like the original Rocky movie. It is more like Rambo in Afghanistan. However, one interesting sidenote. Chuck Norris talks about how he bit a cobra and it dies. Just recently I read in the news about a cobra that died as a result of a bite from a human, and now I know who it was that bit the snake. It must have been Chuck Norris. That will teach a snake to bite an action star! I did not particularly like this movie from its beginning. I give it a tongue out and no paws up. This is about a 2 out of 10 on the human movie scale. I will state though that, if you are a big fan of action movies, and enjoy seeing fighting on the big screen, you will like this movie. Personally, I would have rather watched two hours of that stupid cat, Garfield.

This Dog is Not a Teacher!

Mommy made an announcement today that really surprised me. She wants an iPad. The lady who usually chooses the least complicated cell phone and barely uses it for anything other than occasional conversations, and makes fun of the younger people for texting. She said if she has a phone, there will be no typing! What made her suddenly want an iPad? She found that the iPad has free apps that involve dogs. You can check your dog's horoscope, have a dog clean out your screen from the "inside", translate dog talk, and more. She says that she never realized just how cool apps can be until she saw the free apps that you can get with the iPad. Here is the link for those who have an iPad, and want to get them:

I'm wondering if she gets one of those padded phones, will she be able to use it or will Angel and I have to show her how? I hope not because all us dogs know how hard it is to teach the humans anything!

Dogdude:Great American Dog Hero

With the recent popularity of the Batman movie franchise, I have decided it is time to write a script involving a new superhero that the young people can relate to more than the traditional Batman. He will be called Batdude. Wait, why bother with Batman? I will write about an even cooler super hero, Dogdude. Dogdude will wear a cool cape, and he will come when called-if he is in the mood. There are times when the humans call me, and I am relaxing. I don't bother to go to them because I know that they are calling me for some silly reason, and I'm not going to get up for their amusement. He will eat only human food, and will expect treats for a job well done--like rescuing the humans from the stupid situations they manage to get themselves into. Dogdude will be the greatest super hero ever to grace the big screen, and he will be played by me because I am the only dog who can pull off such a cool part. The studios will only have to pay me $70 million dollars, but I'm sure that won't be a problem. I'm sure they know that they are getting a bargain when they get me for such a small sum.
