I Scored a Snickerdoodle Cookie

Today's blog is for the adventurous dogs like myself who know how to go after what they want. I was doing some counter surfing today--counter surfing is when you put your paws up on the counter or table, and check for tasty human food. I scored a snickerdoodle cookie. It is a delightful cookie that kind of tastes like a sugar cookie with cinnamon added. It is delicious. I think most dogs will enjoy it. In case you are wondering if I got into trouble, of course I didn't. My humans left it for me so that I could enjoy it. Sometimes they give me the cookies directly, but sometimes I enjoy "working" for the cookie. I enjoy a good human cookie although I have nothing against milkbones either. I have found that the food the humans enjoy is usually better than the food made for dogs. I know this isn't fair, but that is why a smart dog always goes for what the humans are eating. Speaking of cookies, I have read that some websites leave cookies on your computer. I am very annoyed because I have looked on the computer many times and not one time have I found a cookie. I wonder if the humans are eating them before I can get them.....

Comparing: PCs and Apples

Today I am going to compare 2 products as a public service to my readers. I am going to compare the regular PC computer to the Apple computer. I happen to use a PC so I am very familiar with the system. I am not a "computer dog" so this will be an evaluation based on ease of use and how I personally feel about each computer. The PC I am using is a windows 7 which is the computer that is after windows 6, but before windows 8. I wanted the dog friendly one I saw advertised earlier this year, but evidently, that was a joke. I will admit that my secretary does most of the work on the computer, but I do play a couple of games on the Internet. Since I am already familiar with the regular PC computer, I really don't need to spend much time on research using it. However, I did get an Apple computer, and use it for several hours to get a feel for the ease of its use. I've heard that it is better for art, but I like to do my art work with my paw and not on the computer so that part didn't really matter to me. I bet all of you are anxious to see my results, and here they are....drum roll please....the PC is better. I found that the apple was very slow on the Internet, and I didn't think the keyboard was particularly user friendly. I tried to be as fair as possible, but I have to admit that I've never found Mcintosh to be particularly tasty--it is too bitter. I personally prefer Royal Gala or Fuji because they are much sweeter. Perhaps if Apple would concentrate on those apple types instead of the Mcintosh, I would be able to give it a better rating. In Apple's favor, it is much cheaper. You can buy them for less than $1.00 a pound so the price does make them tempting. For those of you who already own an Apple, I would suggest that you try to avoid eating it until all your compuer work is done. When you are left with only the core, it no longer works and you will be stuck without a computer. I will admit that PCs do not taste good, and I do not recommend eating them when you are done with your work. I'm Ready to Place My Order for the Pet Book K-9 Laptop

Imagine my dismay when I discovered that the coolest product ever to be on the market was an April Fool's Day joke. Toshiba had a webpage showing a computer for dogs. It can be found at this address: http://us.toshiba.com/petbook Yes, the first laptop computer for dogs. There are 3 models: K9-514 for $329.99, K9-515 for $369.99, and K9-517 for $399.99 I was ready to place my order for the K9-517, and then I saw at the bottom of the page that it was just an April Fool's Joke. This dog did not find it to be funny nor did I appreciate the site making it sound like a computer for dogs would be silly to make. I am blogging on a computer right now so it is about time the humans at Toshiba take note that I'm not the only dog using a computer to write a blog everyday! It is truly a "dream computer" for us dogs starting with its delicious 100% organic rawhide casing which "keeps data safe and tasty", the built in DoggyCam with microphone for inter-canine conferencing, and the pawprint reader for added security and convenience. The paw swipe log-in which gives a dog access to important files and programs with no username or passwords needed is a genius idea. The bone-shaped touchpad for easy browing and navigation is a dream come true for a dog on the Internet. The slobber resistant design is so important to protect a dog's computer investment. You might ask, why am I writing about a product that does not exist? There is a good reason for this blog. I think the good folks at Toshiba have the right idea and now they need to get it into production. This dog thinks that it will sell a lot better than they think. Some car companies are even considering us dogs when they build their cars. I think this product could give Toshiba an edge in the computer arena. HP, Gateway, Dell and Apple have not even thought of building a computer for us dogs. By the way, if anyone in their "new product" division is reading this, it would be nice to add a bowl for snacks since some dogs do enjoy a snack while they are on the computer!
