National Dog Day

Tomorrow is National Dog Day. This is the best day of the year because it is a day set aside to make dogs happy. I can't think of anything better to do any day of the year than to make a dog happy. First, we dogs like a lot of treats, and dingo bones. Rawhide bones are okay, but dingo bones are better. We also prefer human food. My rule of thumb is, if the humans won't eat it, then it should not be served to me. We also prefer meat. Just because a human will eat tofu does not mean a dog wants to eat it! I can't stress this enough! We like new dog toys so we should get a bunch of new toys on National Dog Day. We should also get a lot of attention and, for dogs who enjoy them. walks. For the less energetic dogs, let them nap because naps are also something we dogs are quite fond of doing in our spare time. I am going to quit writing now so that the humans can prepare for all the delightful things they are preparing for their dogs in honor of National Dog Day. I hope all the dogs reading this have fun!

Wilfred: Great Television Show

Mommy bought the first season of the television show, Wilfred. This television show stars Elijah Wood, and it is about him and a neighbor's dog, Wilfred. To everyone else, Wilfred looks like a dog, but to Ryan (played by Elijah Wood), he looks like a human in a dog suit, and he talks. By the way, I, Demon Flash Bandit, also speak human so that is not at all hard for me to believe. The two become friends and the show is about their "adventures". So far, I've found it to be a delightful show, and I think it shows remarkably good taste that a network like FX would have such a delightful show in their line-up. I love it. Angel Zoom Smokey loves it. I've asked a couple of my pals who are of the dog persuasion, and they also love it. I would suggest you watch this show particularly if you like dogs. It is a good show!

Alligators Are Not Good Pets!

I don't think I have to bother to write much about how humans make great pets for dogs. There are so many dogs who own humans; and for the most part, the humans do make delightful pets. You can imagine my surprise the other day when I had a dog tell me that he had a pet alligator. I think this is a silly pet for a dog to have. In fact, when a dog gets too close to an alligator, the dog might become the alligator's dinner. Sure, they do have nice teeth similar to us dogs, but that does not make for a good pet. I told my dog pal to stick with humans because alligators are just too dangerous. I hope he listens because I think alligators should stay in their home in Orlando, Florida-Gatorland.

Hunting For Treats

Yesterday I decided to go hunting for my own food. I do this from time to time because the things I usually find around the house are far more delightful than the food the humans give me. Sure, yesterday I had ham, and it was delicious, but sometimes a dog gets a hankering for something sweet. When this happens, it is best for a dog to forage for his own treats. As usual, I found a delicious item that the humans would not have given me had I waited for them to give me a treat. It was a Boston Creme Roll from Little Debbie made by the McKee bakery. I got myself one of these delicious treats, and I smashed it with my paw so that it would open, and I ate the cake as it oozed out of the package. I know the humans would probably eat it without being so messy, but as a dog, I happen to enjoy a mess almost as much as I enjoyed the creme roll. For those dogs who haven't tried them, they are delicious. I have no idea why they are considered human treats instead of dog treats except that I think the humans try to hog the best treats for themselves. All dogs reading this remember, if you want a delicious treat, try what the humans eat. It is always delicious!
