Bert and Ernie: True Friends

For those who grew up watching Sesame Street, Bert and Ernie are well known characters from that children's show. I am happy to report that the elapsed time has not changed the characters except for aging. They still look similar to the Bert and Ernie that were watched decades ago. They are also together which is a happy tribute to their friendship. Not all friends stay friends over the years. They move on with their separate lives and lose touch with each other. I know they are still together because Bert and Ernie were spotted attending the Dragon.com in Atlanta, Georgia recently. Here is the link so you can see their photo.

Isn't it nice that they are still together after all these years?

Angry Birds and Angry Dogs

I know this is hard for me to report, but a lady wore an "Angry Birds" dress to a big event. This made me an angry dog. As my regular readers are aware, I dislike birds. Besides trying to take over the planet, they spend much of their time annoying dogs. This is how the birds infiltrate human society. They invented a video game, and then, once they get the weak minded humans playing it, they take over by having Angry Birds tshirts, and now dresses worn to big occasions. I have even seen Angry bird dog toys--like I want to play with a toy that has an angry bird on it. Sure, dogs are smart enough to see the birds plans,, but the humans are so easily fooled that I am very worried that the war with the birds will be settled in the birds' favor.

Another thing that I want to mention....several customers at a Walmart in Atlanta, Georgia have been poked by needles that are in the clothing sold at Walmart. The customers are complaining about it, but Walmart does advertise that it gives you better value for your money--this time, they are throwing in needles at no extra charge. Personally, I think there could be an angry birds connection with both these stories. I think the birds are putting the needles in the angry birds clothing line in a feeble attempt to give the humans more for their money. This will fool the humans because humans are idiots! I suppose it could be worse--they could be leaving their bird bombs in the clothing.

I will continue to watch for these news items and share them with my readers. When dealing with birds, a dog cannot be too vigilant!

Rats on a Plane

In the continual discrimination against dogs, airlines most often have us ride in the cargo area like we are some kind of animal. However, Delta had a rat riding on one of its planes which seems very unfair to this dog. No wonder they don't want dogs in the passenger area. A dog would never allow a rat to occupy the same area as a dog. I don't think I even have to tell you what a cat would do in this situation since cats have less patience with rats than dogs. The FDA grounded a Delta plane because, during inspections held between Jan 26-Feb. 2, 2011, a lot of rodent droppings were found by the plane's galley. The galley is where food and beverages are stored. Urine traces were discovered on 6 galley ceilings. The culprit is probably a roof rat, which is a species that abounds in Atlanta, Georgia. According to news sources, the rat was found, and the plane is flying again.

In the past, I have written my personal observation about a conspiracy involving Mickey Mouse and his plans for world domination. I am quite sure that Mickey is behind this recent incident. The reason most dogs aren't allowed to ride in a seat like a normal "human" passenger is because Mickey and his "rat" conspirators wouldn't want a dog on board. Obviously, the airlines are in on the conspiracy. I suggest that all dogs write Delta airlines and let them know that we know what is going on. Maybe if enough of us work together, we can stop Mickey before it is too late.
